This is Peter – “da Peda”

Volkswagen LT45 1979 2,4l Diesel 55kW

Peter arrived on 11.12.2020 in our family. He is an experienced WV LT45 originally built in 1979 who was at some point converted into a campervan here in Finland. In Austrian dialect he is called “Da Peda” and that’s why I will name him that way.

Da Peda has quite some features to offer:

• 55kW 2,4l Diesel Engine CP
• Obviously “pimped” with a turbo
• twin-tires in the back
• Primus 2470 gas and electric heater
• Water space heating system
• Gas stove
• Gas and electric fridge
• TV and satellite antenna
• Seating area convertible to a bed
• Many and strong front lights (you need them in dark Finnish winters)
• DEFA engine preheating system
• 230V power supply with outside plug
• 230V – 12V power inverter
• Radio with many speakers installed all over
• Lots of storage space
• Inside height of about 178cm

In the next weeks and months I will continue to renovate and fix my new friend Peter in such a way that you will enjoy looking at him when you see us passing by.
